Overview

Haputale is a quiet hill country town perched on the edge of a narrow ridge at 1,431 metres, offering unobstructed views in every direction. On a clear day, you can see from the central highlands all the way to the southern coast. It's home to the famous Lipton's Seat viewpoint, Dambatenne Tea Factory, and the stunning Adisham Bungalow — all set among rolling tea estates and mist-cloaked forests.
